Fundraising

We know that not all schools can use their Pupil Premium or SEN budget to fund Mind Mechanics but we do know that some of the most creative brains on the planet work in classrooms.

  • Letter to parents asking for ideas or personal contributions (as a Christmas, birthday or wedding gift, for example)
  • Hold an auction of Promises
  • A sponsored challenge (silence, walk, marathon, climb etc)
  • A collection (at work, at home, your local shop)
  • Lots of schools have a charity of the year or raise money for charity through dress down days etc.
  • Ask parents to nominate Mind Mechanics at their workplace to meet Corporate Social Responsibility policies (see included letter)

Fundraising Ideas

Just to get your creative juices flowing, we’ve listed a few good ideas that have worked well for us in the past. If you’ve had a stroke of brilliance and come up with our next big fundraising idea, you need our help with an idea or if you or your PTA are organising something to raise funds for Mind Mechanics let us know.

Send us pictures and videos of your challenge to see if they can make it onto our website so everyone can see the great work you do.
